Xitore Shareholders Elect Frankie Roohparvar as its Chairman of the Board
Accomplished Executive and veteran of the Flash storage industry
MISSION VIEJO, CA. – April 8, 2016 – Xitore, a leading provider of High Bandwidth, Low Latency DATA-Storage, today announced the election of Frankie Roohparvar as its Chairman, Board of Directors. Mr. Roohparvar joined Xitore in February as Chief Strategy Officer and he will continue in that capacity in addition to his new role.

Prior to joining Xitore, Mr. Roohparvar served as Vice President and Senior Strategic Advisor at HGST (a WD company), CEO of Skyera (an All Flash Array Storage start up), and General Manager and Vice President of the NAND business unit at Micron Technology. Mr. Roohparvar is a prolific inventor and has over 500 United States’ patents. He also served on the board of directors of Link-A-Media, a flash controller company acquired by SK Hynix in 2012.
Mr. Roohparvar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from both Columbia Business School and the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
