A leading provider of High Bandwidth, Low Latency DATA-Storage today announced the addition of Mr. Amir Mobayen to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Amir Mobayen, has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology sector (Hardware, enterprise software, professional services, and embedded computing). As an international operating executive Mr. Mobayen has led businesses in North America, EMEA, and Asia. He is currently the Vice President and General Manager of Arrow OEM Computing Solutions (OCS) in EMEA.
Mr. Mobayen also serves on the board of directors for AlphaStar Corporation.
Prior to Arrow OCS, Mr. Mobayen was the MD at AAvantage Group, where he was an international operating executive, for the PE Groups, Investment Bankers, and companies in technology (software & services) sector.
Before that, Mr. Mobayen served as the Executive Vice President, WW Sales & Services, and Board Elected Officer at MSC Software Corp. During his nine year tenure he drove a successful turnaround of the worldwide Sales & Services & Field Operations, delivered sustainable growth and profitable global business expansion. He played a central role in the acquisition of MSC Software by a private equity group.
Prior to joining MSC Software Corp. Mr. Mobayen was the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Avnet EMEA. During his 3.5 year assignment in Avnet Europe, Mr. Mobayen led the start-up of the Avnet enterprise computing business (Avnet TS) through organic and strategic strategies in EMEA. Before Mr. Mobayen’s European assignment, during his 12 year tenure in Avnet, he held several executive and strategic sales and business development positions within Avnet USA.
Mr. Mobayen has lived in the UK, Belgium, and Paris while managing teams and businesses in EMEA, Asia, and North America. Mr. Mobayen currently has a dual residence in France and California, and speaks English, French, Persian and Turkish.
Mr. Mobayen holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
